GOP Block Benefits Americans Need to Vote Educate Yourself Now

If Americans do not pull together and realize what our Senate is really doing and start to take action by not voting in the business as usual mind set our country is in for not only hard times but a bigger gap between rich and poor. If you want to be enlighten about what is important in our country’s politics make yourself watch cspan. I am 53 years old and have never drawn unemployment in my life until now. If politicians think I am making it on 60-70 percent less than I think it is time to make some serious changes. It is amazing just how many Americans and Politicians do not realize the issues we are facing. It is time to take a hard look at our politicians, the Men and Women we vote into office who should have our best interest in mind with their VOTES. At first, I thought, it seemed we are putting people in office who do not begin to understand the immediate issues at hand. Today I realize Republican mind set is very much aware of what they are doing. GOP is creating a gap bigger between the rich and the middle class. People have voted into office Senators that have no intention of helping anyone below their status. If you are not wealthy the GOP does not support you. I plead with you to go to CSPAN’s

I have always considered myself a smart woman. I realize we know the basics of our government but I have definitely had my eyes opened during this difficult economic time. If you are in the middle class wanting to live the American Dream take the time to view how they represent you! Educate yourself. It is amazing just how many Americans and Politicians do not realize the issues we are facing. It is time to take a hard look at our politicians, the Men and Women we vote into office who should have our best interest in mind with their VOTES. It seems we are putting people in office who do not begin to understand the immediate issues at hand. Where was everyone when Bush started this growing deficit nightmare? When the economy started on this downward spiral? I understand this administration has had spending issues but how much of the spending issues came out of situations building for years. How could you not have seen this coming? Yes, it is time to let go of blame and let’s pull together and get rid of these Politicians that would rather send monies to foreign countries and accept raises when so many Americans are out of a job. What happens when an escalating 15 million unemployed Americans do not have the means to pay Utilities, Mortgages, supply food for their families? Please, just tell me how this will strengthen the country? When do Americans begin to realize and understand that if you take away benefits in a fragile failing economy, from a growing number of unemployed people, America’s economy will fail more! Yes the Deficit will be lower, oh wait, I am sure the monies will go to some foreign cause more important than taking care of Americans, Right? Please all of you who think there are jobs and people just do not want them, please try and make it on 60 % less of your pay for 6 months and then you might begin to understand. I guess it is true we are a selfish self-centered nation!

Idol Gives Back Disappointing

Idol Gives Back for 2010 delivered a conflicting platform. I think the stories and videos of why we need to donate were heartbreaking, gut wrenching and overall, very charity motivating. Millions of Viewers make this a powerful opportunity to generate such a needed awareness in our country and the world. However, this Idol Gives Back production just seemed to miss the mark overall. While Fergie sounded and looked great and Carrie Underwood was breathtaking as always, the sound for the majority of the performances including the Black Eyed Peas, was just simply atrocious. The worst of the worst was the wasted time from Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. Did they really invoke people to donate money? I understand ”Live” shows are challenging, but this is a singing competition show, at least the sound should have been exceptional. If Idol Gives Back simulated Celebrity Apprentice someone would be fired!

“All My Children” A Soap Still Alive After the Move

I have been a fan of All My Children since it’s beginning and it has definitely had some ups and downs. I among many other Fans just did not understand the move to LA and I still do not. With that said, I am happy to see the story lines becoming directionally captivating with so much potential. Do not get me wrong I record and watch no matter what, but I really like the development of the underlying directions available. So, Congratulation to All My Children, on still being alive and well after the move to LA and to the writers for trying so hard to charm the Fans. Please continue!

And let me add 2 cents to the cancellation of Guiding Light another one of my FAVS. I absolutely love Wayne Brady and so when the cancellation of Guiding Light came about I was somewhat okay. But let me tell you I cannot watch Wayne in Let’s make a Deal it drives me crazy. So for all those producers and networks who seem to think the days of Soaps are over i.e. cancellation of As the World Turn well, I will just have to go to another network and watch OLTL. I have switched after all these years to General Hospital and no matter what CBS puts in the timeslot of ATWT I will watch another channel! Thanks for Listening!

Congratulations to Brook Burke who will be the new co host of Dancing with the Stars! She is absolutely gorgeous and to be a mother of 4 let me say just WOW. Tom Bergeron and her should be a great team! She did a great job on Rock Star and after being on 2008 season she at least has compassion for the hours of training these Stars have to go through. I do think this season of Dancing with the Stars will be one of the best seasons. At least there is a great line up!

Her rendition of “Give Me One Reason” is the Reason she is the one to Beat! While I do not think overall this season’s American Idol is the best. I do think Crystal Bowersox is Awesome. She has to thank her lucky starz for taking a chance on Idol! She has already changed her life’s path and it is truly an exciting Road. Congratulations on such on outstanding performance.
